"Not one word but two": “She’s fantastic!” By Graham Sclater CEO Tabitha Music Publishing England
Anjali, raised in New Delhi till the age of 10, draws on her extensive training in classical piano, Indian Hindustani classical vocal training, and occasional moonlighting as a jazz pianist to create emotional and haunting melodies. Learning piano through the British school of music since the age of 4, Anjali’s early musical foundation was later strengthened by the contrast of her Indian vocal training, enabling her to begin writing her own songs and communicating in a way words alone never can.

After performing in venues throughout Chicago and Los Angeles, Anjali began a career as an engineer, which enabled her to embrace her greatest gift to date – motherhood. She recently seized the opportunity to create a full length album of songs inspired by her experiences as a wife and mother. Her songs are sonically captivating, blending rhythms and music from east and west. Her lyrics mirror the challenges, struggles and joys we all face in our lifetime, and combine with her powerful, angelic voice to yield a soulful and honest product.

Southside Recordings Newsletter

SOUTHSIDE HOUSE COLLECTIVE & MARTIN ERIKSSON FEAT. JONNY ROSE - HEADSTRONG

Let us present Southside House Collective & Martin Eriksson feat. Jonny Rose - Headstrong, a powerful monster-track with the three well known artists.
The strong vocal is delivered by Jonny Rose who is a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter and producer originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a vocalist he has collaborated with DJs such as Laidback Luke, Vicetone, Andrew Rayel, Omnia, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman and many others, now he can add Southside House Collective & Martin Eriksson to his resumé.

DARIO TRAPANI - WISH

Dario Trapani is back at Southside Recording with his 3rd release.
A big tune, with a clever synergy between o smooth voice, trancy dreamy synthsand a drop that moves from that 4 on the floor time-signature to 24/4,and then back again. Mr Trapani has been busy in Logic changing the Piano-roll grid, that’s for sure.
Here at the office we get some Hardwell feeling,
or is it just a ”Wish” ?

GASPAR - SPOOKY

Guitars, horns, sequins, plateau-boots and afro hair. That’s what it’s all about. And possibly Daft Punk, Cassius and Giorgo Moroder. Get the picture?
70’s disco!!!
Gaspar are 2 DJs/producers located in Thessaloniki, Greece - DJ Kid Stretch & 70th Floor. Southside Recordings has been trusted to sign Gaspar’s first release. The faith in our label is so great, that they have given us their ”best track”. And what a nice honour it is with this sparkling thumping sensation.

DANNY THORN FEAT. AMANDA WILSON - OUT OF TIME

Danny Thorn is no newcomer to Southside Recordings, with four releases/remixes on our label. This time, it’s not a remix but a original track, with Amanda Wilson on the vocal.
Mr Thorn has been away for a while, seeking inspiration in Singapore & Kuala Lumpur as a DJ. But also to take his time, meticulously tweaking every part of this track.
Danny Thorn - ”I believe that the longer you have been into making music, the more effort you want to put in every track. You always put up new goals and want to deliver a package, as good as possible.”
"Out of time" consists of a strong synth melody, the same piano as in Mark Knight & Florence (how da hell did Danny get that? - Southside has been looking for it!), and that typical ”Swedish touch”

JACK HODINSON F. SARA MANEA - NOTHING WILL TEAR US APART

Jack Hodinson are no newcomer to any of us and the amount of creativity and spectrum of his productions are among the ones in the top. This time he teams up with Sara Manea and Nothing Will Tear Us Apart.
His first EP called “Way Of Control EP” released on Phantom Recordings, received support from Myon & Shane 54, Antillas and it was played in Outwork Radio Show. Next was a track on Electric Fist Recordings followed by “Hotel Brooklyn”, released on Dbeatzion Records, supported by JL & Afterman. And the success here on Southside Recordings we don't even need to mention..
