Calling for all future First Nations podcasters
|
|
Spotify’s Sound Up accelerator program returns for a second year to offer aspiring podcasters the opportunity to participate in a five-day workshop to be held in Sydney in May this year. The program aims to amplify First Nations voices in Australia. All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, writers and creators are encouraged to apply. No previous podcasting experience is required – just a voice with something to say, a passion for the medium and an eagerness to bring a podcast idea to life. 2019 recipient, Rowdie Walden, says the program “gives space to minority groups who otherwise wouldn’t get a foot in the door”. The podcast program will take place from 11 to 15 May 2020 at Spotify’s Sydney Headquarters. Find more information and apply here. Entries close 15 March. |
