Spam, HFS at 97.5: Alternative singles I'm most excited about for 2014:Phantogram "Fall In Love" - We were fortunate to be the first station on the planet to spin this record, and with just one spin, we were bombarded with phone calls, text messages, Facebook posts, and tweets. At that very moment, and still to this day with every single spin, the only song we've played at 97.5 FM that has come anywhere close to being that reactive was "Royals" by Lorde...so that tells you something about how special this record is. Too sexy to ignore, too dark and trippy to write off as a pop song that's simply being warmed up by our format. Heavy English "21 Flights" - A bluesy, catchy, anthemic indie rock monster. These guys already sound like superstars. I've listened to this song hundreds of times already and I'm still eagerly singing along with the "woo-oo". Whoever signs these guys has found a pot of gold.
Chuck Damico, WMMR-WBEN: Talking Heads... A guy can dream can’t he?

Next Week's Question Of The Week:
Bruno Mars is performing at this year’s Super Bowl. Who do you feel would be other quality choices for future Super Bowl halftime shows, and who wins the game the Denver Broncos or Seattle Seahawks?
